Hiya,
Im a bit of a decorating freak, and i have resently bought an VT-49 Decimator 
So my question is : how many items can it hold and what happens to the furniture if you need to re-deed it?

I think it's 75 and you need to empty it in order to re-deed it.

The loot box in the Decimator holds 75 items, so that should give you a rough estimate on how much you can fill it then put things in your ship.
Should you redeed your ship without emptying it, all the furniture will disappear, never to return again. I guess the Empire reclaims it as salvage and recycles it.

The decimator will hold 100 items including the loot box.
