Thread: help!!! AM I Bugged???
Sounds like you're doing Storm Squadron. If the mission you're looped in is one that ends with you flying to 4 patrol waypoints where nothing happens, then gives you a completion message, only for the trainer to give the same mission again, what you need to do is fly more slowly between the waypoints. I would say no faster than 500 speed would be best. The last leg of the mission won't spawn if you go faster.
After the patrols, you're supposed to go support a group of TIEs and two gunboats against a number of Rebel bombers and their own 2 gunboats. If you run the patrol route too fast, you won't spawn this part of the mission at all, and will get a bogus success message.
My personal recommendation would be to use a TIE Bomber on this mission and pack the 2 biggest guns on it that you can. With a decent shield and armor, go straight for the gunboats and rip them up before they can wreak too much havoc.
Good luck!
*edit*
The mission I'm thinking of may be a tier 4 mission. In any event, if you're getting a completion message on your mission, try flying a little more slowly on the last mission for the completion message, and hang around in the space zone to make sure another leg of the mission doesn't spawn after you've left. Some of the Storm missions can be a little buggy like that.

nono, what I'm saying is that several Storm Squadron missions ARE bugged, in that they tell you that you've successfully finished it, when in reality you've skipped a whole critical leg of the mission without knowing it. In that case, the trainer will not train your skills, and will only give the mission over again.

well, I just got a NEW mission so i dont think its that, i am just starting my second tier 3 mission with pilot2211 & capped xp
Ok, some missions in several different factions/squadrons are actually broken up into several trips to a trainer. Forgive me, since I haven't done Storm Squad in a couple months.
The trainers will only grant you a box after completion of an entire string of missions. Most of the time, the trainer sends you out, and all the segments of the mission are strung together. A couple times throughout the different squadrons, you'll complete one part and come back to get the second part.
After you've completed this next mission, you should then get your mission reward, and training.
