How many people can be on board? Do they all have to be Master Pilots? can someone fly, while the others fire the turrets?

It looks like the decimator is the fiercest of all multiplayer ships, but there is no I will become a damn Imp to get it.
Plus I love the YT - 1300, I may never get the firespray either......It looks to ...awful and big.

The YT interior is in my opinion the best because it's smallest, so 75 items should be just enough to decorate it so it doesn't look totally empty. The yacht, for example, is impossible to furnish properly with 75 items - I'd use that much for a single room in there.

I still have another tier to get through before I even qualify to fly the YT-1300, but there are a couple of questions I was hoping someone could answer.
1. Can someone have this ship and the veteran reward yacht? I thought I read somewhere that you can only have one multi-passenger ship. I know you can only have 3 total ships in the datapad at one time.
2. Being a multi-passenger ship, I know that other players can run the turrets and such. Does the ship offer automation for weapons and such, so that a person could operate it solo if desired? I imagine it would be less effective than having real people operate the various parts, but I was curious if it could be put under computer control.

1 - yes, but keep in mind that 1 mp ship = 1 lot
2 - no, but you'll see when you'll fly it, it wouldn't be efficient solo (too slow turns and such).
FYI here are the crew requirements
crew No1 - minimum service
1 pilot
2 gunners
for tier 3, 4, 5 spawns if you guys do fine
crew No2 - let's get serious
1 pilot
2 gunners
1 copilot/technician (copilot uses droid commands and abilities, he has to be the same faction as you)
tier 4, 5 spawns, gunboats if experienced
crew No3 - Deluxe
1 pilot
1 ace copilot
2 gunners
2 technicians (for repairs/patching)
1 doc with fire blankets (when conduit brakes, people around catch on fire)
everything up to the corvette (still not solo tho)
the more you are inside the ship, the most fun you'll have, alone, there's no point flying it except if you want to decorate it.

- I loaded two weapons onto my ship. From the pilot seat, and co-pilot seat, I can't shoot. The only working gun it seems, is the top turret. What am I doing wrong?
- What the heck are all those panels and doohickeys all over the ship?
- Is the loot container just for storage? Or do things I kill and loot end up in there?
- I just got done killing the vette (neutral pilot), wasn't I supposed to get a necklace along with that crappy helm that makes me look hunchback?
Thanks.

There is no guns on the YT that the pilot or co-pilot can fire. BOth guns are turret mounted and you need gunners to operate them. In my opinion the optimal crew for a YT is pilot, gunner 1, gunner 2, co-pilot/ship engineer. 4 people. You can fly without a co-pilot, but I suggest you don't try to do any haigher then tier 3 or 4 then.- What the heck are all those panels and doohickeys all over the ship?
Decoration- Is the loot container just for storage? Or do things I kill and loot end up in there?
The loot container is for (surprise, surprise) loot. All the loot from a trip will be stored there.- I just got done killing the vette (neutral pilot), wasn't I supposed to get a necklace along with that crappy helm that makes me look hunchback?
Thanks.

Congratulations on Master Pilot..

(answered) As for my Ideal POB Ship crew, 1 pilot, 1 Droid / Space operations, 2 gunners, 1 Scottie (Preferably a Shipwright w/ resources and tools)
- What the heck are all those panels and doohickeys all over the ship?
The pannels are for a person with repair kits to make emergency repairs to any components of your ship that have taken damage. The Plasma Conduits have a chance of rupturing of your ship takes fire when shields are down and will slowly decrease the condition of the component they are tied to unless a "Scottie" (Can't do it Captain) repairs them.

You should have recieved both when you returned to the person who gave you the final mission.
