I think everyone has noticed these spots in space where your throttle resets to 0 briefly - very irritating. I suppose they're zone boundaries or some such.
Does the one near the ISD bother anyone as much as me, or has anyone else even noticed it? I just got vaped partially due to my ship slamming to a sudden halt (and partially due to bad flying, but that's another thread).
Any work arounds?

I thought it was just lag. How do you mean, points in space were this happens? I know what you mean but I'm kind of interested to know about the cause.

I think it's both lag, and specific spots. I know of only a few, because they happen in areas I fly frequently - like the one just a ways off the stern of the ISD. Like I said, I vaguely remember someone posting once that these are server boundaries, just like the ones that sometimes cause problems with pets on the ground.

I thought of it as "events" causing lag, like getting the range to see a whole group of fighters at the same time.

It happens to me about once every 10 flight hours, i always thought it was a lag spike, doesnt happen enough to annoy me.
