I
've been wanting a toon that is Neutral Pilot with the JSF, the Arc-170, The Grieveous, and a YT-1300. In other words, I wanted one that has all the Best ships that are Flyable by everyone, but that can only be gotten by each individual Faction, but I wanted him to be a Wookie. Well, I started my Toon on FarStar and joined the Imperial Inquisition. Next I'll do the Rebel Alliance, then lastly the Corsec Squadron. That way I can get just what I want, and by the time I get there, I'll have what I need to Master Each one easier.
Only one question: Which is the easiest Reb Squadron?

Arkon's Havoc is the Easiest by far.

Hmm, that seems unecessarily complex IMHO.
I have all those ships already (the JSF is on my rebel alt though I followed a similar route with my alt as this) and personally I would do it this way.
Do corsec all the way to master (or 4333 at least) as a neutral character.
Get 200 imp faction, join the imperial ground force.
Do JSF mission from vader, drop your imperial ground status.
Get however many rebel faction you need, join rebel groundforce.
Get ARC-170 mission from queen.. voila.

Thats the same thing I did, 'cept I did SA instead of CorSec. Must say getting shot at running the stormie gauntlet at the Theed palace was a hoot.

Hehe that is fun.
Alternatively if you time it right you can ride ride up to the palace entrance on a swoop, get ejected off your swoop into the doorway, store your swoop and no get any agro at all (assuming they dont blow up your swoop lol)
But that's no fun, I prefer running up and taking out all the stormies on the way, if only for the faction points and all the amusing tells from l337 pvp imp kiddies calling me a nub cos I'm not special forces.

So long as you have no FP, you can join either faction with no problem - just ask to join a faction pilot squadron. Also, you lose all FP for a faction when you leave that faction, and you only get faction REWARDS as you do the squadrons, no opposite-faction penalties...

If you just join the ground faction, although it might cos you faction points, it lets you keep your freelance squadron, easier for getting all these rewards.

All you need is to be good friends with a smuggler from each side, who wouldn't mind spotting you a few hundred FP.
