Thread: Can't Land at Jabba's Palace!

Ok, so I try to land at Jabba's Palace in a yacht while combatant, and can't. I figure it's because of the yacht (although that was never a problem before) so I hop in a fighter and still can't land there. I go on leave, try again in the fighter, and STILL can't land at the palace. I've come to the conclusion that I'm not allowed to land there any more. Why?? I'm a CorSec master, and I was always able to land at the palace previously. Was this a stealth nerf of some sort, or just a big fat bug?

Did you have Smuggler or Bounty Hunter? And then drop it?

I had Master Smuggler. I seem to recall landing there without smuggler though.

Smuggler Alliance pilots can land there as well. Neither of my characters are BHs or Smugglers and can land there just fine. If you were SA pilot before mastering CorSec, you would have had access to land at Jabba's Palace.

Jabba's Palace landing confuses me. I had always thought that the themepark was required to land there, but this does not seem to be the case. My alt is a Novice Smuggler, but has not done Jabba's themepark (I'm planning to do it when I get around to Smuggler's Alliance), yet she was given the option to land there during her CorSec grind, and while doing Storm Squadron's newbie missions as well.

Smuggler's Alliance, ground Smuggler, and ground BH. All three get landing rights, theme park or no.

One problem for new pilots or those who haven't done the themepark is actual entry into the palace. You can land there but if your trying to see your trainer, you have to have access to the palace. There is two ways of doing this, the themepark and a space mission.
The space mission was bugged for Meliya, she couldn't get the quest to start at all. But Celaki managed to get the quest started and finished to get Palace Access papers (a tradeable item, hehe 
). If a SA pilot has not/will not done/do the themepark, this is the only way to get access to the palace. It's kinda long and would be most difficult for a Tier 2 pilot to do (I did it using a heavy syck I outfitted after mastering RSF).

On and off topic are extreemely relative around here. As far as I am concerned, so long as the conversation is followable, getting off topic is fine. It is only when you can't look back and see how you got to where you are that getting off topic starts to become a problem.
