Thread: Can my friend complete his mission in my ship?

Helping my friend with his tier 3 missions tomorrow was wondering can he just sit in the turret of my krayt or do i need to be in a seperate craft for him so it registers as him doing it correctly?

Tested this twice in a row in a POB, with the mission holder manning a turret.
Both guys got mission success on their respective missions.

It can be done. The guy with the mission will have to relay the mission waypoints to the pilot as the pilot can only see his own mission WPs.

The only time I've seen this not work is when the mission holder has to dock to actually pick up something.

If the mission requires docking you will fail though. Even if the mission holder issues the dock command from the turret.

Yep. If the mission requires docking, he cannot do it. Otherwise he can do the mission like this.
