Thread: master ships unfun to fly! opinion to revise

having so much fun as a privateer and moving from one ship to another and ship parts as well it just was a disappointment when i got my yt 1300 and couldnt fly it alone. Is there supposed to be a reason it like that? I know in the movies blah blah they manned guns and such blah blah, but since this game isnt as linear based as i should be why cant the falcon be made to fly and shoot like any other tier class ship? auto-link guns what ever you call it, i would just like to fly the damn thing without having to invite 7 other ppl along.
it is just a let down that you gather all these awesome lv 10 parts to put into the only ship able to carry all the weight for them, yet cant take pleasure in flying it.

Were you aware that most of the other colorful people you see running about are other players, and you can invite them aboard your MULTIplayer ship, and have a very enjoyable experience together?


If you want a single player YT1300, go play Rogue Squadron or something.

exactly as psikobunny said, if you want to fly alone then you have many other ships to choose from. The YT-1300 was never meant to be a one-man crewed ship. Han Solo was able to rig his up that way, but to control the weapons from the bridge was so awefull that it was considered an emergency-only option. If you really want to take advantage of your YT, then get a group together. Even though POB ships aren't the best in PvP (at least that's the general opinion), they're still a whole lot of fun to play with.


And if you're looking to solo everything, then there are plenty of other star wars games to be had, but this IS an MMORPG. Just get a group, you'll be glad you did.

cuz the falcon is uber and u only have an un-uber barely modded CEC yt-1300

with a competant pilot and good gunners, ive seen a decimator clean up quite nicely.


I am certain the same results would come from appropriatly crewing a yt-1300.

Keep cryin', kid. I'll be in Kashyyyk space, soloing in my Nova Courier against Tier 3 Capital Ships for sweet loot, outdamaging poons in their Crimson TIEs and JSFs with one turret tied under my ass, and out in Kessel making short work of Tier 5s just me and my widdle wonesome.

man you are so wrong, lol. I am not whining, a kid or a dipsh*t......i thought i made that clear. can you infer? that is something your taught in junior high when you read something. so let me make it more clear for you then.
/yawn..... you solo you whole way thru pilot. cool. even have a tier 4 ship that can hold 200k plus mass and fly jsut the same. so you finally take down a vette(how ever you do it) and you go to upgrade to find out you cant fly it the same way. so if you dont bring a posse then all u can do is sit and man one of 2 turrets. So for those who dont like to have other ppl messin around my ship and and would rather fly it like the previous tier ships......why cant they make it so.
thats the whole point the m-22 krayt i fly is nice but doesnt hold much lv 10 stuff. all my other ships are fun but so light weight, but would like to eventually see a falcon size ship you can operate out of one chair.

oh hull i will look for youthe only one to ever take me out in 10 months of flying is ezis and hunter -e templar.....look forward to embarrasing you.

So 4 out of 30+ ships in an MMO require extra personal to run. I'm just happy it isn't the other way around.

I wasnt.. aware.. that there were tier 3 capital ships? Only capital ships in game I've ever seen is a corellian corvette/star destroyer and neither of them had any tier written on them
