Even with an extremely good engine with a very high PYR, the thing turns like a 10 tonbrick covered with molasses. You'll also note that the placement of the three weapons (one pointed to front and fired by the pilot and two turrets placed on top of and underneath the main fuselage; eachindependently manned.) makes defense difficult due to the limited firing arcs. If it had the ability to carry multible missiles platforms, like the Y-Wing, TIE Bomber, or Firespray, itcould be used as a heavy bomber (if it had, say, 3 missileslots). Unfortunately, it only has one.
Even when multicrewed, heavily armed and armored, your prolongedsurvival in DS or Kessel would be doubtful, IMHO. It would be a large,slow moving target with farless defense capability than a Nova or Decimator. In DS and Kessel, with myAdvanced X-Wing,I can take out ANY player POB ship in under 6 shots before they even have a chance to respond. They are just way too vulnerable.
If you doubt my word on this, go ahead and outfit one and take it into DS (not Kessel) and try it out with two of your buddies.
I'll be glad to blow it up for you to prove my point.
