Thread: Question about taking materials from neutral ships in space

I'm flying a Kimo equipped with a Starfighter Cargo hold. Out of curiosity, I disabeled some random teir 3 freighters. When inspecting them, they had random things like "trade materials," and other "supplies." SO I docked, and got a message like "materials transferred."

When I land, these items are not in my cargo hold... anyone know if this is bugged or am I just not doing it right?

Also, a super noob question. I use my mouse to fly, knowing that those are my settings, what key do I press to enable the mouse to rotate around the ship for viewing purposes? Ya know, the same way "alt" works on the ground.

Thanks guys

You can never actually get things by boarding npc ships, its just a message for missions.

Too bad...being a pirate would be fun!

To your first question: No there is no way you can loot that stuff of those ships.
YOu get the message but won't get the cargo in your cargo hold or inventory, sorry

Can't answer your second question, sorry, using Joystick.

alt key works in space too... but I guess it is just the default settings that I picked

Well that's how it works if you have cockpit camera on...but he flies with the mouse.
