It's not bugged. Only rebels can do the quest to get the ARC-170 to actually undeed. You can get an ARC-170 deed, but you can't generate it until you do the quest for it.

I think you're confusing Rebel (member of the ground faction) with Alliance pilot (member of the faction and flier for same).

All you need to do the quest is to be a Rebel, it doesn't matter who you fly for, although if you fly for RSF you'll need someone to give you a hand on the space portion.

The quest is bugged not the ship, some people completed the quest and didnt get any badges and were unable to unpack their ships subsequently

I'm Rebel on the ground, Neutral in Space, and I did the quest about two months ago with no problem. I fly my ARC-170 everyday and it's great. With speed adjustment ( for turning ), there are no fighter in space that I can't solo ( NPC's, haven't tried it PVP). Also, I'm Pilot 4333. Qualified 4433, but I need to get off my lazy butt and do the mission.

Anyway, if the quest id bugged now, when did it get that way? And how is it bugged? I have another character that I'm wanting to take through it on Farstar, so I'l appreciate the info.
