im pretty sure you geta level 1 gun after you finish the mission to train your first box, but its not useful, because youll just be upgrading to level 2 and 3 then anyway

I think the only thing you get is the mercenary bandolier. If there is any equipment given as a reward it certainly isn't noteworthy enough to want to keep, even to RE.
