I started JTL the day it came out and I quickly shot up to a tier 3 status. Needless to say I took a bit of time off and started to get back into it recently.
I guess I may have forgot doing my first tier 4 box...but it was done when I got back up there.
My question is this....
Currently I am 4/4/4/3 in Havoc Squadron. I have been doing the duty missions to get the 1mil of xp per box...trained in a box...then had to do a mission to be allowed to get more duty missions for yet another box (hope that makes sense so far). I took a mission now that will allow me to unlock (so to say) that last box for training.
Once that is done and I am 4/4/4/4 do i need to do yet another mission from lok before going to Doaba Guerfel to start my 30 tie mission? Or once i get my last teir 4 box will it tell me to go and talk to the person on corellia then..without doing another mission? Just want to be prepared in advance if I need to snag a friend or two for help.

Yes, there is an 'exit quest' after you train 4.4.4.4 before you go off to the Admiral. Some Freelancers get jumped by one or more gunboats during that mission, but I don't know that Imperial/Alliance pilots have a terribly hard mission there.

Privateer here I skipped the exit mission and went straight to the Admiral and got my quest.
I finish the exit mission after I was Master lol made it abit easier.
Dunno if this will work for everybody..

BUG. Do the mission, whatever it may be. I wager these same people who skip whatever missions they can are some of the same ones that complain about lack of content... *sigh*

I have done the mission you will have to do. It works best with 2 or 3 wingmen, preferably 1 in an Awing and the others in Xwings. I won't go into details, but if you need tips or anything, ask and I will tell. also if you are on Scylla, send a tell to me Narrganocca and I will come help. I have aced Havoc squad and am now 4433 Smugglers Alliance

i havemastered havoc squadron and am about to master SMA, and i have to say that the SMA exit mission was really easy, i managed to solo SMA through the vette, but i had to group up from my second tier 4 mission on in havoc

Yeah Havoc is supposed to be the hardest rebel squadron. I will test that theory for myself within the next month or so, When I finish Smuggler Alliance I am gonna do RSF, Vortex, then depending on whether I wanna stay rebel or neutral I will do Crimosn Phoenix and CorSec...whichever ships I like best (neutral or rebel, I will do that one last)

well this mission works well with 4 pilots 1 Awing and 3 Xwings or 1 A, 2 X and 1 Y
part 1 (Dantooine) of the mission requires you to diable a lambda shuttle that has at least 1 tier4 aggressor and several other escort. The lambda will hyper out kinda quick, so the best course is to get the heaviest hitter in your group on the lambda and the others take the escort. disable lambda fast then finish the fighters. Then you gotta escort the lambda out of the system.
part 2 (Endor) a light, medium and heavy imperiak freighter with about 9 escorts ( 2 oppressors and 2 aggressor plus others) again the freighters tend to hyper out very quickly, so go fast and kill them first. have your heaviest hitter on the heavy freighter, next heaviest guy and your lightesst guy on the medium and the next heaviest guy on the light freighter. try to kill all 3 with one pass. obviously if 1 freighter blows and the other 2 don't the guy that doesn't have a freighter to work on anymore needs to be immediately all over the Opressors since they will fire missiles. Once the freighters are destoyed kill all the escort. I would take Oppressors and Aggressors first, the nworry aout interceptors and Advanced.
Part 3 rendezvous with a rebel force and engage a group of imperial fighters escorting a Decimator. I found the best approach here is for your squad to hang back until the rebel NPC's and imp NPC's engage each other. then have your 2 heaviest hitters go after the Decimator, one behind the other. Basically first guy acts as a screen absobing as much punishment as he can stand until he pulls off and then the other guy finishes the Decimator. Meanwhile the other 2 guys chase the heavy fighters and then all of you turn on the remaining fighters..until thelast one goes KA BLAMMO

Vortex is harder than Havoc.
