Thread: Who else is anxiously awaiting a change in JTL?

I check these boards while I work and have to say I'm really tired of the same old problems day in and day out with JTL. I enjoy the game a lot but I want it to be more fun as a master pilot. I recently dropped my pilot skills and went through another squadrons missions and aced them, and during that the game was pretty fun again. Now I'm back at master and really want to see them fix WO3 and make Deep space worth fighting over. I'm still hitting deep space pretty often to see if I can grab some good lot but overall I'm just bored and waiting for some changes.

Anyone else?

Changes take time. They are working much harder now, to change the entire game, and JtL isn't being left out. There have been new clusters of missions added every month or so, and they are getting progressively harder. post Master content is simply a matter of time, and not as much time as you might fear.

You pretty much summed me up right there as well. Last couple weeks ive been posting more cause like you said, its the same old topics. I used to come to this board to absorb as much info as i can, now i find myself struggling to find any tidbit of information that hasnt already been hashed on 10 times over.

Right now ive been taking most of my joy ingame helping out guildmembers with ships, mission help, and going up in deepspace, but the thrill is quickly vanishing - although i still enjoy the FP gain. (im staying at captain, i like that rank for some reason).

Bought me a faction pet and tried it out this morning... *shrug* i might be back on the ground before too long, but ive got some things ive got cooking for the pilots in my guild to get them into fighting form, so i can't crap out on them now.

Good to know I'm not the only one. Really hoping that there is more content and fixes applied soon...

As for the Misc missions added in different zones, I wouldn't consider that master conent as it doesn't give tier 5 enemies and there is still nothing like that in Deep space.

Im hoping they fix the bugs. The deep space exit bug gets me nearly every time.

And improving MP ships. They could do with double shield and armour slots to make them viable. Twice the gunnage would help too.

And more content for masters would be cool.

A reason to fight in deep space would be good too.

The only thing I dont want them to change is the basic physics of the space game. It plays really well at the moment. PvP encounters are quick, heartpounding, skillful encounters like they are supposed to be. I would hate to see the devs cave in to the pilots who want to make the space game like ground combat. It would really ruin it for me.

"Anxiously" is the perfect word to describe how I feel about any major changes to the JTL stuff. As in, changes make me nervous and fill me with concern. Yes, there are things that I would like changed, pretty much the same issues as everyone else. However, I don't really look forward to those changes with a whole lot of eagerness, because we never get something for nothing. A new fix will reveal a new issue lurking behind it. Space, unlike a lot of ground elements, doesn't strike me as having any of its major game dynamics broken.

I know things will change, and I'll adapt accordingly. I just don't look forward to it.

Hehe Im still lovin space, even without any real post master content other than loot farming, theres still a lot to do. The trick is to make something interesting for you. With WO3 as it is right now, any pilot can solo anything in this game without serious effort, so Ive taken to creating challenges for myself. Im currently in the process of trying to outfit my ships exactly as I want them, with reward shields, guns just the right mix of colors, powerful engines, that sort of thing takes a lot of effort still for me . Theres always the ISD or Reb Station to blow up (just for personal enjoyment heh), and I like to go to DS and run myself into two groups of fighter escorts from vettes just to see if I can live lol. Im still loving space as it is, but Im definitely not going to say that new stuff would hurt it hehe. More difficult post master quests (instead of adding new tier II-IV missions to space stations) would be an easy and enjoyable way to add new content, creating missions that are so hard that they require a group of aces to complete is the kind of thing Im talkin about. Also, loot rewards from harder solo quests post-master would be purty nice too. New chassis seems like an easy addition, and creating uses for prestige would be super easy (theres a whole thread filled with ideas for that). I guess of course Im eagerly awaiting new content, but theres still a world of stuff to do out there, just have to be creative! Try outfitting a Tier I or II ship again and fighting Tier III-IV ships with it if you dont believe me lol.

Space pvp. I organise and take part in space pvp, there's no better content in space IMHO. Last night we had a small skirmish in Dathomir, 6 imps vs. 7 rebs, organised and scheduled. Today we should have a larger event, with hopefully double the people attending. Add to that some spontaneous pvp - I fly always overt with my imp pilot these days - and I pretty much content with content .
