I could not find anything in the FAQ or stickies addressing this, so I figured I would give a shot here.

I was just wondering where people found the most effective places to get Starship Combat XP were for each tier. I imagine there has to be something faster than staying on a duty mission for multiple hours.

At some tiers, a spawn is nice to use, but really its a matter of personal preference. I like duties because they are exactly the mob I want, delivered right to my door, no waiting, AND they give me money for it. However I have a soft spot for places like the Corsair Crescent in Lok, and the red nebula where the Death Watch hangs out in Endor. It really depends on my mood.

Made it before all hell broke loose.

by far the fastest way to get through tier1 and 2 is to group with a master and get a ride in the backseat of a Y-Wing, Krayt or Agressor.

with a bit luck you can get the XP for the entire tier2 in about half an hour.

another funny thing is a MPS trip to kessel with a full crew. not that fast but fun and XP.

for tier4 (tier3 doesnt need XP) i would say random tier4 spawns in endor and dathomir. when you are comfortable with these kessel isa good place to get fast XP.

XP ranges from 6k to 33k per enemy mob.

That's how I did my grinding:

- Tier 1 and Tier 2 droid fighters: Naboo (I liked droid fighters, 'cos they don't aggro until I shoot at them).

- Tier 3 droid fighters: Dantoine

- Tier 4 + 5: Dathomir.
