Thread: Freelance Pilot, Tier 4 Mission 3, Capture Valarian Freight Plans ???

This mission is given by Nirame from the Dathomir Cantina. The question I have is when i get to the given waypoint there are 3 Valarian Kimogilas. If I destroy the Kimo's nothing else comes by. I also disable the kimos and inspect them with the usual "Contains Nothing" message. Am I looking for the freight plans on a Kimo, or a freighter?

Your mission journal will always specify exactly what class ship you are meant to find. make sure to expand any tabs to get full details.

I just did this mission. You need to disable them and inspect. I think tho, since you dont get the red box around those ships that they are a timed spawn rather than a mission spawn. I found the correct ship the first try, but I bet if none of them contain the freight plans, then you should destroy them all, and wait for a few minutes, they will likely respawn. They should be 3 tier 3 kimogilas

I just did that one yesterday. You get a poss. target location and the kimo's are there disable each one and inspect it. You'll get a system message stating that one contains the cargo you're looking for. Dock with it and a system message will tell you to deliver for pick up at next waypoint.
You will get ambushed on your way there as well as at the target waypoint.
You can blow them up after each inspection except the one that contains cargo which after you dock with it you of course can blow it up.

I solo'd it and my ship stinks, just dont linger to engage fighters either beat feet to next waypoint or disable and move on.

I too soloed it. I must say tho that I am flying a Rhykzerk with 1800 armor f/b 1750 shields f/b, 2 lvl 8 guns at 2200-3200dmg and 1 lvl 7 gun at 1950-2850 dmg, all at .64/.68 shield/armor. plus I have nice RE'd engine and cap..etc. Also this is my second pilot proffession so I have had time to acquire lots of good parts and am well past the learning curve. that said I still dont think it is that tough of a mission
