Ive tried the Mssissiki (or however its spelled 
) and the escort mission from the other slaver camp, both involve these fighters, and in both situations they are not attackable. Is this a faction/squadron situation where I need to be aligned a certain way?

In the situation involving the quest for the blue lvl 7 gun, i can draw aggro, the boxes turn red and they start shooting at me, but when i shoot back i get that noise you get when you start shooting a player who isnt overt... You cant even get the coming waves to shoot at ya....
