Ok, I wrote pretty much the same thing over in the quests forum, but I thought Id do it here too. My issuse is this:

I completed the heavy x-wing quest, did the whole disable/escort thing and brought the 'vett back to the rebel outpost in Kashyyyk space.

The rebel station gave me the deed, but I recived no badge.

Now Im stuck with a deed for a ship that I can't use because I don't have the badge required to use it... But I did the freaking quest! Where's this badge? Is this a bug? or am I just stupid?

and before you ask, yes, I am certed to fly the advanced x-wing.


so, if any of you have some words of wisdom, Im all ears.

Shoot the dev team leader, and take over SOE.

It's not that you don't have the badge for the ship, you don't have enough badges period. Go hit some POI on Tat or Dath or something, get more badges. Then you should be able to use the ship...

Or so I heard. I'm bugged and can't even do the damn quest. :/

Do you have 5 total badges yet? If not, getting any 5 should allow you to deed the ship.

All of these quests are screwed up.

My Imp got the TIE deed but the X-wing badge. can't generate it.

My Pivateer got the Vaksai deed and the Vaksai badge .. still can't generate it (has over 28 badges)

My Rebel can't do the quest, stuck at the initial "contact Eyma" mission (not even to the strong/weak part) Station only gives me "contact Eyma" mission, Eyma only tells me go talk to station.

These are all as Ace pilots, with matching space and ground faction.

Of course CSR's cannot (more like will not) do anything about any of them.

So your not alone .... unfortunately the official response is "I'm sorry if this has caused you any inconvienience, our dev team is busy working on all these issues, unfortunately customer service is unable to assist you with any of them at this time."

I have a similar problem with my ARC.

I completed the quest, got the deed, but no badge.

The Queen only asks me to tell her stories now.

But I am told I need to complete the quest to fly the ARC.

I sent up a ticket...waiting for hell to freeze or pigs to fly to get a response.

I have---and am flying---the heavy X-Wing and the Grievous ship.

What does the number of badges you have matter to fly this ship!!?!?!!?

That's kinda stupid if you ask me. How will me seeing the POI's help me fly and Advanced X-wing?

Its not an issue of badges for me, for I used to be a Badge Hunter (I need to get up on my pilot skills).

I'm not sure whether it's intentional. It's just a solution for something that may or may not be a bug. I'm with you, though; if it's intentional, I don't see the point of the restriction.

Fortunately, it's not too hard to get a few POI badges, and I have passed this info along to the devs.
