Thread: Dead Issue... no more responses

(Forgive me if someone has already addressed this, but I couldn't find it anywhere...)

Why is it that the JSF is IMP only? I've seen all 6 movies, and not one IMP ever flew one. Yes, Anakin flew it, but oncehe turned IMP, he was flying his special TIE fighter (don't recall it's exact name). Also, it doesn't make sense when you consider it is called a Jedi Starfighter and there are no Jedi in the Imperial Navy (in the movies). There is the Sith Master and his apprentice. Yes, they know the Jedi way, but they are correctly called Sith, not Jedi. So I address this again, how can IMP's fly a "Jedi" Starfighter? And more importantly, if it's a Jedi starfighter, why can't all Jedi use the Jedi Starfighter. Sorry, but not understanding it here...

NOTE: I'm not trying to restrict this from IMP's because in the "game", there are IMP Jedi's. My major dispute is why can only IMP Jedi's have one? If anything, the rebel Jedisshould be the ones using these since they are the only ones that flew them in the movies, but I'd have no problem at all with all Jedi having the capability of flying it. It only makes sense.

spoilers for the JSF quest follow, you've been warned

The reason the JSF is an imperial reward is because it is a specific ship, owned by a specific Sith Lord, and he gives it to you.

it's really and "Actis ETA-2 Interceptor" and mostly the Jedi Used it as it was very fast and manuverable and powerful but weak shields and armor.

and... Imperial Jedi don't get to fly this unless that are at least a 4333 Imperial Pilot.

And... besides... one could defect, get the ship, and go back agian...

You aren't getting Jedi Starfighter #42, you're getting a specific one. Lord Vader's specific JSF. Somehow, I doubt he'd be willing to hand his former ship over to a Rebel.

JerethBane, can you make your posting any more annoying and useless??? Wait, please don't try. I was trying to get serious dialogue here. In the movies, the Sith Lord did not own or produce the JSF, so my question remains. How is it only IMP Jedi get this ship?

Sure. Let's restrict all quest rewards to one per server. I mean, how many swoop helmets did Anakin have? Shouldn't have all of those floating around, should we? And does Boba Fett have an extra dimensional pocked for the thousands of Clone Wars era weapons he's giving everyone? And, of course, there should only be one person running around in Clone Trooper armor now, since it's not as though they were issuing millions of suits to each clone.

Sometimes, you just have to ignore other players in a game like this. This is your story, so you get to have the fun toys.

but the problem remains that not everyone is getting to play with the cool toys...

Anyone who does the quest can. Why is this a problem? If you want the ship, go Imp for a little while and get it. My partner has both the JSF (actually, I got mine this morning too, but I can't use it yet) and the ARC. It's not hard.

You ever notice how we don't ever see Imps complaining about how only Rebels get the ARC?

Everyone gets their own cool toys. No...not everyone gets everything. That's the way it should be. You pick and choose the road you want to travel then get the rewards that go with that road. Or maybe you pick the road specifically FOR the rewards I dunno. But I for one am glad that everyone doesn't get everything. Makes what we do get that much more cooler. Sure I'd like to fly a JSF or a XWing...but I wanted to fly a YT more. So that's the road I took. And I much prefer being Rebel on the ground...so I cope with da Rebel gear.

It's gooder this way. Eye swear.

So what you're saying is you want to have a JSF, but you're not prepared to go Imperial to get one?

NM...don't answer that. The sooner threads like this die, the better.
