I have recently dropped the imperial pilot and have my ship with all my components in it. Is there anyway to get these components out other than regrinding the pilot trees again? If I redeed the ship, what happens to the components that are in it? Thanks for your help.

you can try contacting a csr to come get your components out and re-deed your ship for you, which they may or may not do, depending on the csr :/ if you're desperate to get your stuff back, keep trying, otherwise it's re-grind the skill trees or destroy it, i'm afraid
done exactly the same thing myself (twice- doh!), and in the end i just re-ground the skill trees to get it back.

You cannot redeed your ship unless you take the components out. Also you cannot take the components out unless you are currently certified for that ship.
You are SOL.

File a ticket and hope you get a CSR that will help you. If you don't then let the CSR close the ticket, wait a bit, and file another (hoping for a different CSR).

Wish I had better advice, but that's about all you can do to get your gear and deed back.

I don't know if this still works, but it did in beta, trade the ship. Obviously do it with someone you trust, who has the skills to use the ship, they can then take the parts out and give everything back to you.
