KK I am really proud of my KSE Firespray, BUT is there a way to limit the "Slide" it has when manuvering? Tie's dont do that they stop on a dime. Is it an intentional built in slide?

Nope, can't fix it. It all depends on the chassis. Things like the Tie Bomber, Oppressor, and Firespray have tons of mass, thus a to of kinetic energy to deal with when turning and stopping. Things like Tie Fighters and Interceptors have little to no mass whatsoever so they can turn and stop on a dime.

Yep, the slide is determined by the chassis and how much actual weight is loaded on it. As a more massive object has higher inertia, it is more difficult to get a larger and heavier object to respond to changes in course when friction and drag are not variables. More energy must be applied to move a bigger thing in the direction you want (sorry bout the physics lol its the washout engineering student in me :-p) ships like the KSE, Krayt, Opressor, are heavy and will always slide. This can be used to your advantage though (have a look at the K.I.S.S. flying guide for more info on 'flying sideways') but this is a part of these ships. Having a high pitch and yaw on your engine can minimize the negative effects of this, and with careful throttle control, you can actually sort of "strafe" around your enemies and keep them lined up in your sights at all times.

One thing I do wonder though, if you took a big chassis like the Krayt and loaded 11k of mass on it (Tier I equipment) would it still slide so much? Wondering if slide is entirely chassis based or if its affected by the amount of actual mass loaded into the ship... Ill have to test that one hehe
