there was a post some time ago (can't find it) about this. I personally know of a few 1 mill+ chips out there. But not mine, I use it as a "marker" as I go along to tell me where I have checked loot too

I was up to 1.2mil or so, then saw a post about people loosing inventory items due to some glitch while crossing a server boundry. A mil is still a lot to me, so I decided to cash in. mebe later. <g>

That's pretty common with stores around Theed and Coronet (server boundary around the city). You buy an item, go back to the city and when you cross the boundary an earlier version of yourself is loaded without the item. Item will pop back in your inventory during a server restart. Won't make existing items disappear, so credit chips are safe. Just bought items are safe too, they're just temporarily unavailable. If you buy something you really need and don't want it to disappear, hang around for 15 mins before crossing the boundary.
