Thread: Help a poor Eclipse pilot... Need to trade Adv. X-Wing for a Vaksai!
i was under the impression of that you needed to do the respective missions for them to be able to use them?
for myself i was RSF ace and got my vaksai.. went rebel, cant do the xwing quest and cant use my vaksai

I am not sure if they changed it recently, but I did both the Vaksai and the adv xwing missions and got the reward for both.
I gave the xwing to a guildie and still fly the vaksai every so often. It is a decent ship -- loaded my level 10 .78 vs armor and shields 4200 damage weapon on it (74k mass, lol) with little else fitting on that bad boy.
Anyway, you should be able to go back tot he Kash station and get the vaksai mission.

I know someone who switched squadrons when the quest was bugged due to the "easy/hard" answer loop and could not do the Heavy X quest. He did the quest on a friend's account who is not an active pilot and used the Heavy X deed on his main character. He had no problem generating the ship even though he does not have the Heavy X badge.
So they do seem to be tradeable.

this is how i got my heavy x-wing, although i did it on my padawan unlock alt. but when i changed over to Freelancer, it looped teh mission for that character too. so now both my characters are permanently looped.
