well i need 300k exp till ace (lvling as we speak) and i have a KSE ready, but checking it out is it REALLY that much better then the opressor?

uhm ace is 2 missons no xp required if i have got it right. 
from your post i can only assume yove grinded out the 7.5 mill xp thats listed in the master box. if not just ignore me.

Don't be upset if you are already totally clear on this... but you mean 300k left before you finish up tier four (4444) and then do your exit and Ace missions right?
Meaning you aren't trying to fill that 7 mil xp box up to get ace? Cause those Ace missions are required and no amount of XP will do anything more towards getting ace once you're 4444.
Again, if this is obvious to you please ignore that part of the post.
And actually ignore the entirety of this post since I don't have a real answer to your question as I've yet to fly for the Imperials.

as is always the case with space. it depends on you, and what you like.
i prefer my Firespray over my Oppressor. more mass = more room for nice guns, etc.

Never flown either, but pvp wise, the Oppressor may be the better choice for being much smaller, yet still offering 170K mass, and three ordnance slots compared to the 2 from the Firespray. Though, I see some people do very well in PvP with a Firespray.
Me, I stuck with a TIE Interceptor with my Imp Pilot, and fly a Duneliazard with my freelancer, or a Krayt if I have a gunner.

I have never flown the Firespray, but the Oppressor is a significantly smaller target, which is always good. Also the TIE's all have a nice tight fire pattern, unlike the Firespray which I've heard it is very hard to hit targets with. i use my Oppressor for both PvP and PvE, it works good for me,I also use an Interceptor for PvP, goes like a scaled cat, and turns so fast you'd swear you were going backwards

The Firespray is more an iconic thing then a good ship stats wise. It has a HUGE hitbox (you cant miss the thing), weird weapon targeting issues and only 2 gun slots. It does have to 2 missiles and decent maneuverability tho. I think this ship makes sense to own for rebel pilots as they lack a heavy fighter with good mass and maneuverability, but the Krayt gunship crushes the firespray across the board so privateers really have no need for the Firespray except for fun/cool factor (It "is" fett's ship afterall). Not sure about Imps.
I think the best use for the firespary may be in helping to take on the vette or gunships because it has 2 missile slots and more mass then you can fill with its allowed weapon slots, allowing you to slap some big honking armor plates on it for extra staying power when crippling components on the big guys.

firstly yes it was 300k till 4,4,4,4 and then the mission ive got the exp now looking for cple aces to take me up, ill bare all those comments in mind, but i dont think ill use the opressor, someone said 170k mass? i use that up in my bomber already ill go with the 210k mass of the KSE .

I don't even care for the Oppressor much...I still fly my Aggressor

Never flown a firespray, never cared to, probably never will...
I love my oppressor. I like where the gun placements are, I like the 3 ordinance spots, I like the ammount of mass I get. It's my main choice for a PvE ship. I have a Tie Advanced for PvP.

the oppressor is much more agile and fun to fly. much easier to hit targets with. but the KSE sounds really cool.
