Thread: wookie breathing mask for master pilots

I was wondering. Since wookies are not supposed to wear clothing according to cannon I can see why a full helmet would be odd. So taking into considerationthewookie tough exterior why wouldn't they get a breathing mask to cover their mouth and nose. Something like fighter pilots clip on before dogfighting in the moves. Just the mask with rebel, imp or neutral markings would be so great for the wookie master pilots. It would seem that they could equip the helmet we all get just like we do only it would appear as just the breather.


I thought this sounded like a good idea. If we all show support for this maybe it can happen. Let the wookie love begin.



P.S. No I am not a wookie. I just have wookie friends and want them to be able to show off their helmet too it is such a point of pride after all that work..

I'm all for it? Everyone should have a visable mark that they are an ace pilot.


Maybe a Bandoleer instead of the Jacket with Faction markings


I like the the idea of the breath mask instead of the helmet or maybe goggles of somekind


I'm a Mon Cal and the helmets look goofy on me too, hehe most of my Guildies call me egg head with the rebel helmet on.


The Black Sun Helmet doesn't look to bad so I wear that when flying

i think the breathing mask idea sounds great keeps in with what we know of the star wars universe as im sure chewie wears a breathing mask in empire strikes back

I like the idea so much that I had to post again....


I've been picturing my wookiee wearing his hood and having the breathing mask and I think it would look freakin sweet... i would also like a BIG bandolier instead of the jacket...


So in all.. A sweet breathing mask instead of the helmet.. and instead of the jacket.. a BIG bandolier.. and by big I mean a bandolier that wont sink into my chest when i wear it and cant even see it.


would be cool to have it hang low like chewies bandolier too.. maybe the pouch on it too but not the exact same bandolier y'know?...


Dev's should seriously consider this... I for one would love flying 10x better with a sweet breathing mask... as funny as it sounds...

yeah, those crappy bandolier's we get at tier 1 we can't even see on us.....what the hell were they thinking...at least they are useful as storage
