I looted a Mandalmotors Elite Annhilator, 2600-4100 damage, .430 refire. Problem is, 60k mass. Is it worth making space for on any non POB ship? If not I can throw it on my nova, but I can never get a full crew to come aboard.Any suggestions?

I would not bother with it. I would find a weapon that does half the damage but is also at least twice as fast which means you would be doing hte same damage if not more (landing more hits). And for sure you can also get it for half the mass.

Aye, it's really not worth much IMO.
Even RE-ing them, you won't find a lv 10 to RE with that doesn't have .400 + refire.
So even though you could get the wieght down a little, I'd prefer a 3500 lv 9 with a low refire rate.

With RE'ing you can get it down to 40k.It can be used in the new heavy light ships, heavy x-wing can easily accommodate 2 of them, the Vaksai, B-wing, Y-wing, TIE-bomber, Oppressor, Rihkxyrk, Kimogila, Krayt, Firespray.
Drawback of L10 guns in ships with more then one weapon slot: 2 RE'd L8 reward guns do 7600 dmg together and can be gotten down to 20 to 25k mass each. 2 RE'd L7 Imp reward guns will do 6000 dmg together, have faster refire and weigh in at 12 to 15k each.

I've gotten an L10 down to 39.1k. Don't expect much better than that.

If you're hosing down a gunship, refire rate might give you better damage over time. However vs ships where you are dogfighting, you are likely timing and placing your shots more carefully, and I prefer to do max damage when those windows of opportunity open to fire a salvo. RE that gun to get lower mass and better stats on energy consumption, damage distribution, energy per shot, mass, etc... I know a lot of guys with Firesprays who run with twin 10's.

Interesting. I really need to dust off the old JTL guide.. I looked it over and figured it was useless. But I guess it could help if i got into it. I am definitely not a ship loadout expert, considering I usually dont look at all the stats of components when im trying to decide which to include. I'll catch on though, I'm an ace with only a week in the making. thanks for the suggestions.
