Thread: How to get Vaksai and Heavy X Wing?

Hi all,
I've heard plenty of ppl say that there's a way to get two of the three ships if you're freelancer in space and factioned on the ground, can anyone fill me in on what path to follow to be able to do this?

I'm rebel on the ground and smuggler's alliance ace in the air. I did the vaksai quest and a bit over a month later was screwing around in kashyyk when I talked to the rebel station and they offerred me missions. I did the escort and got the hologram, and then saw the option "ready for a challenge". I took it and it was the vette and I got a heavy Xwing.
I have a friend who has a reb pilot jedi with a nearly worn out heavy Xwing. His alt is rebel on the ground and smugglers alliance in the air. His alt got the vaksai, but can't get the missions to get the heavy Xwing as well. We've been trying to figure out why for some time. I don't know if there's a limit of one of each chassis per account or something. I got my heavy Xwing completely by accident. I also did not have my vaksai equipped yet when I did the xwing quest.
All I'd say is keep going back to eyma until he tells you to go to the rebel outpost, then go to kashyyk station and accept their challange and get the vaksai first. Then go see what the rebel station offers.

I was a Rebel ground faction and SA pilot...I was able to get both the Vaksai and the Heavy X. Being Freelance, I can't fly the Heavy X, but anyone who is certed for its use (4333 Rebel Pilot) and has done the quest should be able to use it.
I switched over to Imperial ground faction and I'm planning on doing the Royal Guard Interceptor quest next.

One more thing that might help..
When I was initially doing the quest, at some point Emya sends you to the faction station. I did the first mission there (to get the hologram) before returning to the station to complete the Vaksai part. Perhaps you can't get the faction craft missions if you have already done the Vaksai one?

I guess the Rebs already have their full quota of smugglers met cause I can't get the HeavyXwing either.
