Thread: Can't load ship components...

Hi there,
I am a Rebel pilot level 1110
I have picked a nice Capacitorwhilst doingmy duty misisons and I'm having problems installing it.
In the "Manage" screen I've "Unloaded" the default capacitor that was in my ship, but neither the Old or the New Capacitor show up in the "Load" window, although they are in my inventory.
Does anyone know whats going on? I can't even re-install the Capacitor that I removed.
Please help!

Does it give you an error of any sort?
Sometimes it's just buggy, or really really slow. Try closing the window and reopening, or opening another ship. Sometimes even flying to another planet helps.

Did you check mass? Are you positive you are certified for that level of part?

You speak of a "load window"
There is no such thing. You have to press orange square beside "Capacitor" in the list to the left, then you will see all the Caps in your inventory. Select one, it should now apear in the left window, then double click the name in the list, or press "Load" below that window.
Then it should apear in the right window and is loaded (will also say "(loaded)" beside the name in the list, unless the name is too long)

If your part is stored on a yacht, it will show up on the window as in your inventory.

The left-hand window shows the currently selected item, the right-hand shows the currently installed item. You don't actually have to unload a component to load a new one...

I find that to be quite annoying. If I forget to unload the loot box on my YT I end up with all these extra parts in the manage screen. What's the point of showing them if you can load them? Why show them at all?

It's just another bug that's never been addressed (parts showing up that are stored on a POB ship).
