the screwed part comes in where the people that did the pre-order thought they were giving up the barc for the extra 3 ship slots, then the extra slots were added for the TTEafter they did the pre-order.
i think you could have canceled the pre-order though, never checked personally since i had the credits to just buy a barc and i got to run around with rotw loot for a couple weeks before the majority of the players even knew what the planet looked like firsthand

oh yeah, you get 6 ship slots with rotw.

Right, I mainly preordered for the extra slots, then the day after the DDL they announced that the TE would get the slots also. Also there was some confusion as to whether the account key would work for existing accounts or not. I was able to trade my lizard and a couple hundred K credits for a BARC so I'm not too unhappy, but not all were able to do that.

As will Jetpacks and AV-21s soon.
Makes me glad I was stubborn and kept my first fragged AV-21 in my inventory until the Devs decided to pull their heads out of their asses regarding the fact that a ship blown to dust can be completely repaired but a SPEEDER can't be.
