I agree, the Heavy X is excellent for PvE.
Nym's Starmap Engine RE'ed to 103.x sp, 74.xYPR and 21kmass
2 LvL9 custom made blasters 19xx-3000 damage, .5 vs S/A, .26/.25 refire, 36kmass
1 LvL7 custom made blaster 15xx-23xx damage, .5 vs S/A, .26 refire, 14kmass
LvL8 reward sheild RE'ed to 30kmass, 24xx F/B protection
LvL3 RE'ed reactor 2.5kmass 143xx output
2 lvl5 custom made armor 52xx mass, ~1050 Armor, ~950HP
1 custom made booster ~6kmass and 34sp
1 imagerec II launcher
1 500mass 14.1sp droid interface (found this on a vendor for 4k a couple months back)
RE'ed Capacitor with 1100 charge and ~38 recharge but can't remember the mass. I think it is around 3k but not certain.
This makes for an excellet Black Sun killing machine. Also great against those pesky rear firing Ties in Kessel. The fast refire take out that turret quickly... If I can get RO4, EO4, CO4, WO3, C2SS4 running (just got RE'ed this reactor so I've not tried yet) then I'll upgrade the armor a little and maybe drop the booster and see how she can do in PvP. If I can get one volley off she might do well with that much firepower. If I have to go into a dogfight the skilled pilots with nice YPR will eat me up but the rookie pilots with crafted engines I could have fun with...hehehe

Krayt if youre a freelancer. On kessel runs I regularly 2-hit or 3-hitanything thats not a gunboat.

Personal opinion? If you are Rebel. I just love the Advanced X-wing. Enough agility to dogfight and firepower is awesome with the correct loadout. I have two chars so my Reb does most of the component grinding.
