Can anyone recommend a spot for a Tier 2 Smuggler pilot to hunt around in? someplace that has a conentration of tier 2 and 3 ships? I've been looking around and I've only seen places with tier 1 and maybe a few tier 2 ships thrown in. The duty missions get old after a bit and I'd like to, from time to time, go out and dive into a mass of ships slapping everything in my path! (Picture the end of ROTJ)

Thanks!

Ask you trainer, I'm sure he/she would love to point you toward some tier 2/3 spawns.

Now, this isn't specifically geared for you since you're a freelance pilot, but as a Rebel, I hunted in the Yavin System around Smuggler's Run. I did a lot of grinding there it was slow, but it did go pretty quick. Yeah, I know that's a contradiction, but once you do it, you'll see. lol

Skip tier2/3 get a weapon overload 3 computer chip load up a dunelizzard with 2 best weapons you can get and a nice engine. go to endor and do tier 4 bwings and xwings. not to far from the space station.

If not then go to smugglers run yavin4 theres a constant imp/rebel war going. Go for tier3 ties they have no shields so drop faster.

Bwings/xwings will give you the best xp at this point. ties and awings are lower. the bombers dont give that much either since the yavin ones are tier 2 i believe. cant remember.

As a corsec or smuggler i did alot of grind at yavin4 but now i just do endor. its alot faster for going through tier 2 then yavin4.

Go to Kashyyyk and head out to the Gotal bandit base. You'll find a "few" tier 2 and 3 ships there. Muahah.

for my first tier 2 grind I use a spawn of tier 1 kimos near station star in tat space. they are only tier 1 but there are about 10 per spawn with a fast respawn rate so it is constant fighting witch I prefer to kill 3 ships fly around for 10 mins... kill 3 more ships... etc.

Edit: witch = which... stupid spell check

On this topic I jumped into my alt on sunrunner who's a Rebel pilot at 4-3-3-3 (I KNOW! I should have gone 3-4-3-3 for the upgraded weapons, I'm still kicking myself over that) But I noticed something weird, I'm in Endor and took down a VT-49 Decimator and got a whopping 655XP! HUH??!! Now, I did notice the +7208% due to inspiration bonus, but if I'm doing the math right, 7208% of 655 is 47212, now, I'm not getting anywhere near that much XP for taking that thing down. Then the Oppressor I took down right after said I got 360XP plus 3964% which is 14270.

Is something wrong here or did somehow, I magically get 47k XP for the VT-49? The numbers just don't look like they add up on my XP bar, but age is creeping up on me.

Thanks!

the publish today seemed to swap the inspiration numbers with the normal ones. If you double check after each kill its should add up to the regular amount. just to test a standard tier 1 ship should give you 110 xp with buff.
