Thread: Need help with imperial pilot missions

hey im 1111 imp pilot and i just moved on to the new trainer, so i need to do his missions, the very first one is to find a nym's leutinent in the lok system, but as hard as i try i just cant find one, can anyone help? Thanks.

The waypoint you are given in this caseis a *general* area to search for your target. Personally, I like these a bit better than the static waypoint/target shows up method. Get close to the waypoint (within 1k, generally), and start searching. There are probably a few ships in that general area, and one of them will be called *Nym's Lieutenent*, or something close. It will be in a Black Sun ship, if that is any help. If you are using the default radar, there should be a number in the bottom center of it, which is the range that your radar is scanning...up in the top-right of the radar there is a plus/minus, you can click these to adjust the distance from like 1k, all the way up to 8kish. It works just like it does on the ground.

it doesnt give me a waypoint though, maybe im getting there wrong. I launch from bestine and hyperspace to the nym part of the lok system, should i travel to lok and then launch or what?

I believe they are near the Nym's Hovel hyperpoint, but I could be mistaken...check around Lok station, too.

but shouldnt it be giving me a "genereal area" waypoint anyway?

If you listen to the Briefing it says near the starport.
Its a Dunelizard fighter called nyms Lietenant, he spawns near the star port every so often, no waypoint for it.

I am sorry I misspoke, the *general waypoint* is not onscreen...somewhere in the mission text it gives you the general area in which to search...and I am pretty certain you will find one not far from Lok station. Check your mission journal, it might be in there, or talk to your trainer again, and read what it tells you...it's in one place or the other.
