Thread: Char transfer question

Being that several regular posters have transfered their characters I thought I was ask a question or two.


What did you bring with you for items? reward items, rare loot drops or just a bit of everything?


Does anyone know what happens to the houses and vendors when you transfer?


I have two vendors on the char that I am thinking of transferring with ship part and other misc items numbering in the range of 700-800 items.

Much of it is crap but by no means all of it.

Here's a post I did on my steps and experiences. You can not bring over vendors or houses that are placed. It is questionable if you will be able to use the pack up feature in the next publish and bring that over. You also can not bring any resources or anything in crates. There is a link off the main swg page that gives more of the official rules on that.

Moving server seems to be like..moving onto the afterlife for pilots. Do any people apart from pilots actually transfer with items?


I mean it seems to becoming where pilots who wish for a greater challenge but dont want to lose their current kit they spent months working for are moving to starsider (or Valcyn if you're Rapax shaped) onto pasteurs new for a taste of the holy land . I must have bumped into at least five transferees now from different servers who have come to starsider. It's like a cult!

I'm going to form a PA called the 'Starsidertransfer Cult'. It'll be a cult where we worship weekly, the one known as The Rapax. The chosen one who was going to transfer to starsider...but got lost on the way, his ping went through the roof and he ended up on Valcyn instead, the outskirts of the holy land..

Btw Rapax, I chose you as the cult's Messiah basically because you did it first and...your name goes well with 'The' infront of it...we'll just sacrifice a ..erm..ahh yeh, a Jedi/Bantha every sunday night in your honour


Alternatively, I could just say that apart from the numerous bugs discovered by The Rapax, the service is excellent. If you want to indeed find some more people to fly against and keep your kit [deed all ships, load you inventory with yourbest stuff and fill up abackpack you're wearing too] it is perfect. Just costs a few pennies..

Before I moved to Starsider, my character's name was Stormcrow and was an Imp of course. Next thing I know, there was a guild called Stormcrows and they had a City named the same. Unfortunately, they were Rebs. I used to go talk to them every once in a while about how the high priest had misled them. That he had gotten my message wrong and they were supposed to be Imps.
