I haven't seen this issue posted about yet. My friend and I have consistantly experiencedproblems with the gunner in our Y-Wings getting disconected about 20 to 30 minutes into a flight. When she is my gunner, she gets disconnected and when I am her gunner I get disconnected. In four months the only other time I ever lost connection to SWG was during a server crash.

Is this a known issue? Do any of the rest of you have problems with your gunners getting disconnected?

This makes our Y-Wings pretty useless as a two seat space craft.

this has happened to me every time I have flown as a gunner in a Y-wing. Two different people, same thing.

After approx 20-30 minutes, I am disconnected. I bugged this 7 weeks ago, and am sorry to see that the

devs have not fixed this yet.

Happens to me a lot to when I am a gunner (either in the Y-wing or the YT1300). I've seen it happen to other people too. I've been fortunate in that when I have re-logged I have been back in the gunner seat and can continue, other people have not been so lucky and have ended up back on the ground.

This happens all the time to me gunning in an MP ship. never timed it, but 20-30 sounds 'bout right. Since my client 95% percent of the time won't log me back in unless I reload it, I don't get back in time to return to the gunner's chair, I end up on the ground. I've quit gunning because of it, (will try again once "T.H.E.Y." address it.)

We always seem to end up back on the ground too. Gunners in MP ships are a big feature of JTL, so one would hope that this is on the short list of things to get fixed. Maybe they can roll in a fix for this when they fix the plasma fire from hell bug.

Any answers forthcoming on this?

Have you tried running an AFK macro that simply does a /stand every 15 minutes. I think the system is treating you as being afk and times you out (yes I know you are firing but it seems to miss that).

Bastilaa, that answer is brilliance. I'm ashamed I didn't see the correlation to the AFK-auto log timer. I'll try tonight an' let you know. Even if it isn't the answer, great connection.
