Thread: In-game Pilot chatroom

I just wanted to inform everyone of a great idea my friend on Shadowfire had. He made a chatroom in the Galaxy chat called Pilots, and basically its a room where you can talk with other pilots about loot, questions, and especially help for your missions. So far the chat has put together 7+ successful corvette missions, helped numerous people with Tier 3 and 4 missions, and made the piloting experience much more enjoyable as far as I'm concerned.
I urge everyone to get onto their server and look for this chatroom. If its already there and you either might be needing help, are willing to help, or just want to talk with other pilots, join it. If there isn't one, well, take the initiative and make it. Tell all your guildies and friends about it. Once it becomes a well known thing, finding help for missions or just groups for fighting should be no problem, and it will make everyone's life easier. Even if you have a guild full of pilots, you never know when you'll need some extra help or be in a helping mood yourself.

Xlent idea! I'll look/make one tonight for Chilastra's server... i still gotta get the vette done, so this will hopefully turn otu to be beneficial...

Hmm, I'm not getting the response I was expecting from this post.
Changed the name thinking maybe people were seeing it as a post advertising an AIM room or something of the like.

I looked on the Chilastra chatroom lists but didn't find one. So I created one myself:
Chatroom Name: SWG.Chilastra.Chat.1.c.Pilot
Chatroom Title: Pilot's Lounge

Hey Hydro!!!
Quest here... the answer is not in the responces but in the times viewed man.
To anyone wanting to make it easier on themselves having a regognized chat room that serves a specific function helps!
We on Shadowfire have made over 13 master pilots with the Pilots chat channel... true that is not an outragous number but when you look at the fact that as a cingular act of makeing 5 and 6 masters at a run it starts to add up...
Anyone that is a master or is 4444 pilot knows that getting a team together is not as easy as some would think. Having a focused channel helps bring this together.
I was a pilot 4444 and for the most part had only Hydrolus as the only one I could count on.. So I got tiered of spaming and decided I should help motivate the situation and created the Pilots chat. Anyone I saw spaming for help I would tell them about it or anyone that I came across in space or anyone asking any questions about being a pilot and what to do I directed them to the Pilot chat channel.
Some people dont do anything after making pilot but to be honest we on the shadowfire server have not had so much of a problem with any masters on our channel quitting the art of being a pilot.
So take the knowledge you have gained here and do something with it! Join us on shadowfire or make a Pilot channel of your own... all it takes is for you to tell 2 people then have them in turn tell 2 more and have everyone there-after follow suit... trust me you will find the help if you just know how to ask!

I made one on Sunrunner a couple weeks ago when I was bucking for master. RebPilots, for rebels & freelancers. Imps, well.. sorry I can't help ya.. maketh thine own.
