I narrowly escaped death on the second mission once those blasted TIE Aggressors started swarming me. I got lucky in taking out their weapons and just outlasting them. I barely escaped the gunboat at the end since it hypered in right on top of me! I don't like surprises in space, I don't want to end up in a pile of junk back at the starport. I just have a few questions -
1. Whats my objective and opposition in the third box mission? Will I need backup?
2. Whats my objective and opposition in the fourth box mission? Will I need backup?
3. Are there any more missions given out by the Tier 4 trainer after the fourth box mission or can I move on to hunting for 30 ships in Kessel?
Thanks for your time! It will be a great help since I may need to find help for these missions. Thanks!

trying hard to remember. did you play assassin already? if not, that could be number 4. then there's the eternal escort mission which could be 3. but pretty much the whole sa tree can be done solo, though i would look for help with the corvette. i was kind of glad to have two more show up and draw the fighters away after disabling it (dont think i would have had time to die a third or fourth time). else taking out the guns might take a while and finding the right spot for the reactor takes some time, too. if you take out the fighters first anyway you might be able to easily do it alone (unless time is running out).

They were pretty easy. I'd been helping a couple Storm Squadron buddies complete their tier 4, and when we got to the fourth tier 4 SA mission, I quickly became embarrassed I'd even dragged them along. Their tier 3s were tougher than that.
There is a second fourth tier 4 mission which had its hard parts, but it isn't too bad. First you dogfight a bunch of Imperials, then you take out some CorSec, I think, who have a nasty gunboat with them--this was the hard part, though I didn't really know gunboat tactics back then--then you have to assassinate some guy who isn't anything special. All in all it's nothing to worry about, especially if you have a good wingman or two to help you out.

The one key element that you need to have for these missions are friends... and the more the better
Then once you finish the 4444 mission, u'll gonna have to go to Kessel and kill 30 ships... with this mission, the more wingmen u bring the faster it will get done

Say, could you all tell me what the trick to the gunboats are again? I can shoot them all day when I'm directly underneath them right? Problem is, I don't think I could get underneath them in time to live...

?? there is a whole safe area, just approach it within that area or just keep a distance between 530 and 550 and fire happily away while youre outside its weapon range. trouble only begins when that thing is turning all the time or even coming after you ,-) in that case, be patient, dont try to land more than a few hits at a time and boost away the moment it shoots back. your shield should regenerate a lot faster, especially with shield shunt.
