I have a character I started on another server, and I did the missions from the different flying NPCs in Tatoo space. I got all the experience I needed to finish tier1 and I made enough money to buy good Ubese armor for my ground work, plus equipment to upgrade my ship.

There are 3 NPCs

One at Nallera Mining POI

One at Hutt Claims POI

One near the Tatoo space sation (Mos Eisley PD guy)

doing all their missions pays about 45k each.

for teir 1, just do duty destroy missions......it won't take long to get tier 1 xp.....at your level, you wont' be able to handle too many random spawns that you may run into if you travel too far into space...besides, doing duty missions will help improve your piloting skills

You know, I'd recommend this too....but doing this is not a good way to learn how to pilot a ship....it might help you firing turrets, however, the experience you get from flying your own ship is far more important than getting quick xp....because in tiers 3, 4 and 5.....believe me, you won't be worrying about xp, you'll be worrying about how to stay alive and some good ole piloting experience is the only thing that can help you....otherwise he'll be back on these forums asking for help with future missions, maybe even with some complaints about how hard it is......do it if you want...just know that if you do, you will not be a good pilot at all.

anyway, I just believe in help yourself first and then ask for help if you can accomplish what you set out to do.....the only way you can help yourself is from experience.....if anyone really wants JTL to be fun, then you must experience the fight in your own ship....otherwise, noone is gonna want you flying in there wing when they are going totake out the vette or star destroyer or maybein a massive pvp battle (if they ever happen) when you tagged along on someone's MP ship to gain xp...you just won't have the piloting skills....and if anyone needs to use the MP ship advantage at tier 1.....you really are gonna hate the 1 million xp for the tier 4 missions (4 million total) and the 60k for each teir 2 missions.....7.5k for tier 1 missions is nothing compared to those.....also, you will need the piloting experience once you face tier 5 ships anyway.
