Thread: Mission rewards?

I know thier are mission rewards out there. (IE: engines, weapons, flight suits...etc) I'm the Freelance Corsec faction the only thing I ever got was a Merc. Bandolier? Was this on purpose or another oversight? I know its complaining, and I could care less about a flight siut you can buy one of those, but when others are getting good engines and/or good weapons there is a distinct advantage. I just want things to be somewhat fair for the different factions.

IIRC, you only get a reward item for doing the "exit mission" of each tier. So when you get all your Tier1 boxes, you do a final mission, get a reward, then get sent to the tier2 trainer. The merc bandolier is the tier1 reward for all privateers (I think rebel or Imp wookiees and ithorians get one instead of a flightsuit). You get a decent weapon finishing Tier2. You get the reward engine at Tier3 (it was originally a 92.2 speed one, I think that got toned down to 78ish to more closely match crafted level 6 engines). Tier4 you get a piece of clothing: privateers get a pilot's jacket, I think rebels and imps get appropriate helmets to go with their flight suits.
The reward items can get a little lost in your inventory, especially now with the auto-sorting. And I seem to remember a bug where you wouldn't get the "an item has been added to yourinventory" system message after completing the mission, but it should be there. Look for an "Inferno" engine (if you've finished Tier3) and a "Hoersch-Kessel Military Grade Blaster" for Tier2.
I'm pretty sure that all three factions get the engine (I know there were howls from a bunch of players when the speedwas reduced), I'm not sure about the blaster.

Ok, then the tier 2 & 3 rewards are broken in the Corsec faction.

There's actually a reward for every mission in those tiers after the tier1 exit, but if you're not watching for it you won't really notice. Crosec is working just fine, as I have been watching my girlfriend get all her parts. Just make sure you don't have a full inventory when you go visit your trainer after a mission. I recall 2 Boosters (L4&8) two weapons (L1&8), two shields (also 4&8), a droid interface (4), and some armor (6), as well as the engine (6). There may be more items I forgot, or there may be some missions without, but those are what I recall.
