Hi there,

I have come back to SWG after a long break and started doing pilot, unfortunately I happened to pick the Storm Squad cause I like Tat a lot. Unfortunately the first teir 3 mission is as close to impossible for me as it gets. I finish the first part np, but the second is crazy - like 9 A-wings with more every few minutes. Anyway I hear it get even worse later on, so I want to change to another imperial squad.

I had lots of credits on me before I left so I bought a heavy TIE fighter so I can re-grind the 2-2-2-2I currently have quickly enough.

So what is considered the easiest imp squad to Master - the Naboo (black epsion) or the Tanus (inquistion)??? By easiest I mean soloable, do-able and straight forward missions? I personally dont like pvp so I dont need to become an elite pilot I just want the imp ships and may try some pvp down the road.

Thanks guys,

PS STAY AWAY from SS its EVIL!!!!

are you using droid commands? if not i would look into using these.

reactor overload

engine overload

weap cap overcharge

weap overload

cap to shield shunt

you can get the other commands from a privateer pilot by way of droid program chips

You cant nerf me any more I already have a CL 90 Jedi and Commando.

i found Inquistion to be pretty easy exepct one mission where i needed to take out a gunboat. but other than that it was easy

and yea i dropped SS to join Inquistion because of how hard that first teir 3 mission was

Well yeah, go ahead and drop Storm Squadron. You probably don't have what it takes to be in the elite Imperial squadron. I heard the trainers talking about how they didn't think you could make it anyway. But if you want to go ahead and quit and prove them right go ahead.

Or you could jump back in that TIE, power up the flight computer, and go blast those A-wings to pieces.

Stick with Storm.

I have played this game now about 4 weeks and I too took Storm.

Yes its harder than others.

Yes its worth it even if you dont pvp its worth it.

Storm is something to be proud of when I am with other pilots I get respect and I am just 4333 Even Aces show Storm pilots respect.

So stick it out Sit down power up and show those rebs what YOU have inside you

I dropped Storm Squadron because I couldn't do the very mission you are talking about. The trick is an in system hyperspace jump when they start mobbing you.

Inquisition does have you killing a Gunboat at 3/3/3/3. I died 6 straight times until the gods of the forums told me about the droid computer.

Read the HOLOCRON in game for how to use the droids. Capacitor Overload and Capicitor to Shield stunt are FABULOUS! (Hint: you don't get the skills to program the droid with those abilities as Imperials, but you can buy Ready Chips and burn them into the droid's programming!)

- First and foremost, I support the S T F U and play theory. I also support the CU and the NGE. I am grateful that we have a game that continues to evolve rather than stagnate. Join the positive voices!

Don't be so quick to drop Storm Squadron. Besides, you'll feel great after you finally finish it -- and then you can do those easy Imperial squadrons with an XP bonus!

The trick to tier 3, besides droid commands, is to find someone willing to help. It's not always easy since the missions are pretty long, but ask on your server forum if there are any other pilots willing to help you. Most storm squadron pilots are always willing to help others do those missions.

Also, you mentioned having a Heavy TIE. That's a huge advantage over trying to do it pre-RotW -- most had to start off with a 40k mass TIE/In, and after training the ships box, you could get a TIE Interceptor with a whopping 50k mass. That TIE heavy makes a big difference.
