Thread: Can some imperial pilots give me some advice?

I'm definately not the best pilot, but I've managed to make it to 2/2/2/2 (Very close to 3/x/x/x). Anyway I'm in the storm squadrin and I've recieved an escort mission to take some engineers through the endor system. The thing is everytime I complete the missions I get another one. I got to the part where I have to take the transport through the system and get attacked by a few groups of 5 A-wings. How close am I to actually completeing this mission?
When I got to that part of the mission, I killed a few of the ships, then it started wandering into the massive group of wondering A-wings. At that part just let the ship go. It has enough shields and hp to survive for quite awhile. About a minute later it will hyper out--all done.
After that I think there still might be a couple more left to do, but I'm not too certain. Personally I think that all escort missons just plain suck.
Escort scientists
Disable transport and escort it
Disable, inspect, and dock with an a-wing
Dock with and escort another transport
Meet a Lambda and dock with it
Once you've finished docking with the Lambda, the mission should be over. But, like I said, it's been a while since I've done it, I may have missed a step.
If I was a better pilot I could finish easy lol. My ship is good enough, and i don' know how i managed that, but whatevere I'm fighting rarely brakes my sheild. It's just mostly just when i get jumped by pirtates (since they have missles)or have to take out a group of A-wings since they're fast enough to daodge my fire and slowly wear me down.
So since you said I joined the toughest squadron I assume there are others? I meanhow do you get in them. I just went and talked to the guy i was told to talk to and he said I'd be in Storm.
I don't know to whom I can attribute this quote to,but whomever you are you know who you are! LOL That badly said. " Friends don't let friends join Storm squadron as their first pilot squadron!"
Cyd Outlander
Havoc Squadron Ace
RSF, SA and Corsec Ace.
Black Epsilon Initiate (Grin)
there is the inqustion squadron in tweed .
as squadron in bestine
and the 3rd at some other starting planet.
I am sure the guild says were. I the inquestion squadron gets you to the imp retreat in time. Thats what all those new mobs are for you see if you do the imp retreat over again.

I helped a friend with this mission the other day. I was 4444 RSF, and we had no difficulties other than him not know how to use his droid routines. When you get to a segment of a mission that requires you to dock with another ship, if you are solo, do NOT stop and fight the first wave to spawn, get to the waypoint and then dock ASAP. Use CapShunt to survive the assault, but as soon as you dock, the waves stop spawning. If you have a wingman, which I suggest, have him engage the first wave while you rush in to dock, then help him mop up. If he's able, he should get a couple of solid hits on each ship in the wave to keep their attention focused on him as much as possible. Minimum droid programs to be using at this point are Weapon Capacitor Overcharge 3 and Capacitor to Shield Shunt 3. I like to throw in Engine Overload 2 also. Get a factory crate of Unprogrammed Droid Control Modules, you will not have trouble finding a freelance or another Imperial pilot with better programs to burn you a chip if you provide the blanks.
