Word is, if I have already recieved a RG TIE-Interceptor, I cannot get the Heavy X-Wing. Same as if I were trying to go freelancer, I would not be able to obtain the Vaksai.

Is this true? I'm considering a career change, but if I cant fly one of the best ships for freelancer or rebel because I have the Imperial version, there would really be no point.

Yes I used search, it kept timing out on me. Check FAQ, didnt see it there.

Well that is one of the most discouraging things Ive heard yet. I hate my JSF and grievous too

Eh, I dont suppose there are any fixes in the works for this?

Well, I view paying 15 bucks for doing nothing but going into space pointless as it is. I hate the ground game, pvp down there is terrible in my opinion. I dont think Ill be reactivating my alt just for this

You may consider trying to buy the ship off of someone, then. I'm not sure who would be selling, you might try a Freelance Rebel pilot. There is what may or may not be a bug with them, so that they can get the Vaksai and the factional ship of their ground faction. So if you're going Rebel, talk to a Ground Rebel/Space Freelance, and see if they'd be willing to part with their Advanced X-wing.

I must have hit upon a strange bug. I got a Vaksai and a Advanced X-Wing with my char. I was Reb, started the quest and changed to Freelance in mid quest. When I restarted the quest I finished the advanced X-wing quest then restarted and got the vaksai. I couldn't generate the x-wing as a freelancer. BTW I still have the "Contact Emya part of the quest in my quest journal.

The Vaksai Quest is independant of the Heavy and Crimson TIE mission. You can get the X or the TIE, but either way you can also get a Vaksai. Talk to Kash Station and ask for a challenge.
