Thread: Flight Computers and Z-95 HH

I am only a noob rebel pilot so this may be any easy question. I've got the standard Z-95 HH that you get by default. I have made a few mods to it, nothing much just up'd some of the components with loot. I have done the first row (ie. have lvl2 astromech cert). I have initialized my lvl 2 Flight Computer and added the programsI want in to it, and Ican see it in the datapad np.The problem comes when I tryand load my Flight Computer in to my ship. I select the flight computer under manage and the load button is enabled, but when I click nothing happens nor do I get a system message of any type that indicated why I can't load the flight computer.

At the moment I do not have a droid interface loaded, although I tried with one loaded and this did not let me load the flight computer anyway.

Is this a bug or am I missing something. I asked a few pilots around the place one said that you can't use flight computers till you get to master you have to use a droid and the other was not far ahead of me and said that he had the same problem.

Thanks

I forgot to mention that I also have the same problem with loading chaff in my Z-95 HH. It allows me to select load but nothing happens.

Not positive as I am freelance, but you may want to try using an astromech you are certed for instead of a flight comp... I think all the rebel starfighters use an astro instead of a flight comp (good to have one of each in your datapad anyhow if you want to fly some of the newer ships)

If you're using the free starter ship then you may even have trouble loading your droid programs even with a droid interface on your ship and an astromech droid in your datapad. We've been noticing on the imperial and freelance side that our free starter ships are not allowing the memory banks of our flight computers to be loaded up. If you upgrade to a shipwright crafted version of the ship (heavy variant if you can afford it) then you should be able to load your stuff with minimal problems. (with missiles, chaffs, and droids sometimes you do have to click it a few times to get it to go in). Check the bazaar to see if it's feasible and good luck!

Many thanks Doofius, I checked out the other posts. Yes this fixes the problem. Although others parts can be loaded flight computers and droids it seems can not in the initial start ship. I bought a new chasis and had no problem.
