Level 6 Weapon that drops with high damage. Around 2500-2700. Anyone know what faction/tiers ships I should look for?

Tier 3 or 4 rebels would probably drop it. They seem to drop other "scorcher" weapons.

If you plan to use this weapon for REing, I recomend that you do not put this in first. The visual effect is very, very annoying, especially if you are flying any sort of TIE.

good advice, i have an awesome gun that RE'd with a scorcher, and i just cant use it, i cant see a damn thing

Master Rifleman, Master Bounty Hunter, Combat medic 4000. Its a template, and i want mine back.

Any tier 3 should be pretty good for these, really. I've found a bunch of both Rebs and pirates of various sorts.

Probably the easiest way to get one is from the Mercenary freighter spawn around the Kashyyyk station... provided you've got a lot of firepower to take them down speedily.

1 off rebel

1 of imperial

3 off "pirates" (BS,deathwatch,evilraider tyrants, etc)

3 off bazaar

and drop range is 2.2k(100 above rest of cert 6 high end normally) to 2760 as my highest

from what I normally fly vs for tier 3-4 when I fly it this is about even odds everything just stick to tier 3-4 imo

they dont take that much firepower, just get in there blind spot, which conviently enough for the big cruiser, is right on its tail, and i mean right on it.
