I have enough XP to train in my next skill. As a matter of fact I'm almost maxed out on the amount of XP I can hold without learning a new skill. I'm an imp pilot who is currently 2/1/1/1. I'm in the inquisition so I got my first four skill boxes from a trainer in kaadara and my last skill I learned from a trainer near the shuttle outside the emporer's retreat. He's also the one whose been giving me duty missions. But now I have enough XP to learn a new skill and he won't train me.

A couple of nights ago I was a gunner for a master imp pilot friend of mine. That's how I got a bunch of the XP for this skill. But I'm wondering if that screwed this up. How am I suppose to get training now? Where am I suppose to get training from.

Right now all this guy will talk about is giving me the same duty missions. If I have one he says it looks like I'm already busy with a mission. If I end the mission he just offeres to give me a briefing. HOW DO I GET TRAINED!!!!

If you have a full skill box you should not be getting more duty missions. However, you may need to do a non-duty mission before he will train you and send you to the next recruiter.

If you are getting duty missions but your experience is full then you need to contact a CSR.

it should come up in a text box, asking what skill you want to train, the next thing is are you at the right trainer?

This confused me at first but then I figured, if your ready for training the option will apear under the 3 different duty missions. Just talk to him like you want a duty mission and it will be at the bottom of the next set of options.

Thank you ErazorHarpiaso much!!! I can't tell you how frustrated I was by this. I'm glad that it was something like that and not a technical problem that I was going to need the devs to fix.

Dont worry I had the same problem, didn't think he wanted to train me or it was a bug.

Wasn't untill I went to take another duty mission that I noticed there was an option for training under the missions, strange place to put it, should have been in the first menu as I am sure many people will or have had this problem.
