Thread: Auto pilot that works in MPS when you exit the pilot seat

Umm.. while I agree that we need a working autopilot, I have to disagree with something else...
Avionics equipment fail... atmospherics are unpredictable... and other idiots in the skies are either drunk or stupid.. I dont know of any commercial pilot that will "give George the aircraft" just so he can get up and saunter around the plane. Doing so is statistically a sure recipe for a quick trip to the ground.

Dont know about you, but my Auto pilot kicks out often in play even when I am sitting in the pilot seat, so I figure that covers that aspect
I have a fast computer and DSL connection. But really I am much more likely to get blown up by flying on autipilot and manning a gun since I wont know what kind of damage the ship is taking. Not really sauntering really, but beats dying or the boring warp out.

I imagine that will happen alot if Auto Pilot works out of the seat... but still, for those who wanna have some fun, it beats just jumpin out.
It's funny... I would rather risk some missions like that, then fly in my Krayt (which is a great ship)... well sometimes I would rather. *chuckles* I only get into my Krayt when I must though
