New question, how does it compare to the x-wing in terms of PvE and PvP.
Since it has a lot more mass i'm guessing it could be a lot better for PvE (not that PvE means much for space =P =P =P =P)

Overall, I would say the X-wing and B-wing are equal for PvE, provided that you have the patience to learn the quirks of the sluggish B-wing. While they are not exactly equal in actual performance, I think that both ships are fairly decent for PvE. Something you might notice with the B-wing is that tier 5 fighters (Especially TIE's) will ALWAYS be quicker and much more maneuverable than you. The trick is to utilize the four blasters at maximum efficiency. ![]()
The B-wing can be awesome against gunboats and decimators though. I take down tier 4-5 gunboats and tier 5 decimators all the time. With a good setup, you really only need one strafing pass on a tier 5 decimator to blow it up with the B-wing, the X-wing is not quite this powerful IMHO.
As for PvP... The B-wing is not suited for that. If you don't get a surprise attack in or use missiles, you will most likelyhave troubles against all other ships. The four guns and extra mass for armor and shields means nothing at all, really. The ship is so slow and sluggish at the same time that player vs player damage isn't really balanced. Players cause too much damage in relation to player shields, giving heavy and hard hitting ships next to no advantage in PvP. Use an A-wing for PvP instead.

Yeah, the B-Wing is best utilized against non-fighters, as that is its design and intended role. As for PvP, you don't have to go in solo. Group with a friend using a faster and more manuverable ship, and let them keep other people off of you.
Really only if you are a member of a guild that regularly helps out others on their JTL missions. Basically, once you hit master, theres no real content for you to do but gather loot etc.
