I have a Y-Wing, no droid and only mrk2(tier 1)engines. Flying is sluggish but decent. I need tips on usage of weapons and anything else thaks.

go back to your z95 and use it till you get your first tier2 box, the ywing is worthless with only lvl3 parts, and the longprobe which mounts twice the guns is only right around the corner. get a good crafted lvl3 shield n gun and stick to the z95 til you get a longprobe if you ask me.

Learn sooner then later how to use the Droid interface, specifically get Capacitor Overload 3 from an experienced Neutral Pilot. Weapons Overload 3 is great also - however you can only get that from Imps - which you may have a tough time getting that directly.

True that on the Z95.

Get the longprobe and try and hook up with some other players, XP goes a great deal faster with people than alone. I had a great deal better luck doing the missions alone however, especially the Tier 3 (I think that was more of the quality of help than anything else).

I try to help my friends with thier XP now... in a group as long as you get a shot in that does damage you get xp, so I disable tier 4s or tier 5s for them. Not everyone, just the people that helped me when I was a newb a long long year ago.

Oh... and some of the people I know prefer the longprobe over the Xwing in PvE.. the Xwing has odd firing arcs especially if you just came off of the Ywing or Z95. Plus it masses more and can carry more equipment. Me personally take the Xwing over all teh ships, for two reasons, one.. come on, it an Xwing lol, and two my RPing group is in a timeline where the A and B wings are not in service yet.
