Hey All,

After constant badgering I think I have finally gotten my wife to start playing SWG with me. And for all you married people out

there you know how good that can be ( can we say no more yelling from the other room to get off the damn computer )

No my question to you guys is what do you think is the easiest squadron to do in JTL for a noobie. Faction isnt an issue here.

Im basicaly looking for a squadron that she can solo most of the way through without getting frustrated and quiting on me.

Thanks

Well...Imperial Squads wouldn't be too hard. I know one of my guild mates did about 90% solo. Using Bomber Strike as much as possible when he got it.

Bomber Strike can wreck havoc on the targets.

Storm Squad from bestine is about the hardest, and he was still able to do it because of bomber Strike

Rebel out of Corellia.

I've done all up to 4-4-4-4 solo. Just waiting on a 'vette group.

That is, if you're willing to get good with a Y-Wing. Otherwise, don't bother...

Easily got to 4/3/3/3 in CorSec, privateer that starts in Coronet.

Got stuck at 3/2/2/2 in Storm Squad, imp that starts in Bestine.

Steer her clear of Imperial Inquisition, starts in Kaadara, and Smuggler's Alliance, starts in Mos Eisely, as these both require you to do theme parks to get to trainers. (yeah, there now seem to be quests to get access to these parks for pilots, but I still see quite a few posts with poeple having problems) One of the rebel factions also requires theme park to be done, but not sure which.

Get her using flight programs early on and she will have a lot more fun.

I took that one for my Alt.

Hardest part right now is getting the million XP per box for Tier 4...when I don't have much time to play. hehe. Maybe now I will just stick him in the turret of my Main's Krayt and go beat up on ships in Kessel.

Freelance is easy to do. I did 4/4/4/4 solo with Smuggler's Alliance (freelance out of Tatooine). My guy on TC is doing freelance out of Naboo (RSF). Think it'll be easier since TIE NPCsare sorta allied with you as RSF.

Corsec is easy enough, but it has at least one really nasty gunship mission in tier4.

Her biggest aid will not be so much a particular squad, but if you feed her parts and equipment that are a cut above what she would find on her own, or simply buy. Try getting her into a different branch than yourself, so you can develop mutual synergy when it comes to exchanging program chips. Avoid RSF for her if you are a Rebel.

Load up your X-Wing with good looted Cap and Engine, get a pair of guns crafted and put on the s-foils, a good shield, and reactor, get Weapon Overload 3 and Engine Overload 3, then take the kill black sun duity mission.

A sucessful run through it will get the 1 million. That's 5 "aces" you need to take out.

It takes time, and gets tough, but it's the simplest way I found...

Smugglers' Alliance was pretty easy for privateer, though from what I've read all the neutral ones are pretty simple. As for Imperials, the Inquisition is the easiest; Black Epsilon and Storm Squadron are both pretty damn hard. Can't say about Rebels.

Smuggler's Alliance was easy for freelance (required a bit of creative thinking on one mission, but it never really seemed tough). RSF looks like it'll be just as easy (still working up the tiers though). Dunno about Corellia.
