Ok, I just spent like 2 days, 10 hours, 3 tickets and bug reports on that mission, so I want to tell the people that come after me where the problem is, so you can save some time.

Myself, I did the mission about 100 times in total before I got it. I am sure I did everything there is with that Lambda Shuttle, and nothing happened at all. So I filed numerous bug reports. And yes, there is a bug, but no one will acknowledge that.

Now to the problem.... remember the first waypoint you got when you started into space on that mission?
Well, if you haven't solved the mission yet and are here to search the forum, chances are like 100% its totally wrong.
Its not wrong for everyone. Some people get a correct waypoint, most do actually. But not you. Or me, for that matter.

If you fly across Lok system you will soon find a Imperial Lambda Shuttle that regularily hyperjumps in and hyperjumps out, after a journey through the asteroid belt. That same shuttle you found probably already. If you inspect it, it has something called Ship Signature Data. You found that shuttle? Great... its the wrong one.

Now, really, I inspected that shuttle like 100 times, docked it, destroyed it, but there are no enemies coming with it.

The main problem is now to find the real shuttle, cause you didnt get a valid waypoint.

MY shuttle (but I dont know if its at that location for everyone) I finally found after I just flew somewhere across the system to engage in some Tie-Fighter shootout. It was located about at the middle between rebel and imperial starbase, and instead of hyperjumping in all alone it just appeared together with a 3 tie-fighter escort, which then increased to 5 Ties fast.

At that point I knew that had to be it and I immediately disabled, inspected and docked it. You will get a mission complete after that, and another mission will start, that says you got to destroy the escort. Do that, and you solved another mission.
On inspection you will notice that THIS Imperial Lambda Shuttle has some "Imperial Data" onboard, and NOT the same Shop Signature Data. Also it will tell you that THIS is the data you need. So grab it.

For me, that shuttle spawned not even close to the mission waypoint I had, to be exact it was like 6000m away from it. And, you obviously have to get close to the spawn point for the second shuttle to spawn.

Summary:

You found a shuttle? It doesnt work? Its the wrong one! Find another one, somewhere in space. And write a bug report please.

P.S.: A CSR checked the mission out with his flashy YT, and he didnt find the problem as well. Way to go, AnthonyG

I'm having a whole nother problem with this mission. I get the correct waypoint. I shoot it down until it is no longer moving. I inspect it, it says this ship has some imperial data that you are looking for. I press "u" or /dockto dock and it says this ship has denied to the right to dock. Any help on how I can dock on this ship?

Ok, I hope you did target the ENGINE specifically, cause thats what you need to do to disable the thing. You should see then the message "Target was disabled.". Thats opposed to shooting it until it stops moving, cause then it is not really disabled but just a wreckage.

If you did target the ENGINE and shoot it until it drops to 0%, and you cannot dock, please file a bug report and call a CSR, maybe they finally fix all the bugs in those missions.
