Thread: New Ships and Who Can Use Them

From an interview with Worthplaying.com:



WP : Will the new starships be made available for new pilots, or will you need a certain skill level to use them?


The starships we are adding with the Episode III Rage of the Wookiees expansion will require master pilot status and one must have completed the quest to be able to use it.


There are many rewards to unearth through the missions and things like Grievous’s starfighter, which is awarded at the end of a quest, will not come easily.

Guess my crafter wont be getting the new ships if there is any ground combat involved.

Wow, they won't be crafted?

What if I decide to spank the chassis hard and need a new one? I wonder if you can repear the quests or if we're going to have to baby the ships or only use them in Deep Space.

If your a master pilot are you every flying anywhere other than deeps space lol, cept for asteroid minning of course.

Maybe their talkinga bout the Y-8.

I know the modified factional chassis are just that.. mods you put in, i have the schematics now, just no materials.


As for the arc, jedi starfigther, and that other one.. check your skill boxes, its listed in teir 4.

Ya the original poster has it quoted as master level ships but on live I just trained the tier4 ship box and they are in that box not master level.

testify4, as far as decay on one-time reward items, I think they're working on or already have a solution for that. Can't remember where I read about it, and I hope I'm not breaking the NDA buy saying that either. Either way the expansion should be out tommorrow so hopefully your question will be answered then.

While that interview answer isn't incorrect, remember there are a lot of new ships coming with the expansion.

The Greivious's starfighter was the only one mentioned specifically that a quest was attached to it.

The NDA is why Ihad to quotewhomever it was who gave the interview. Wish they'd lift it already.
